From a name to its destination
Public answers help you inspect the route, but they are not a complete recursive trace.
Why old answers can remain after a DNS provider change →
Review the new zone, registrar delegation and caches as separate steps.
A CNAME target still needs to be resolved →
An alias is a relationship between names, not the final address or a browser redirect.

Scope of a lookup
All types covers common record types for the name you enter. It does not enumerate every subdomain or perform zone transfers, port scans or global propagation tests. Answers come from one recursive DNS service and may reflect its cache.
